Chapter 1: The Rift's Wake

Sora's Gummy Ship hurtled through the unstable rift, its engines screaming as Heartless energy clawed at the hull. "Hold on, guys!" Sora shouted to Donald and Goofy, but the vortex tore them apart mid-warp. The ship slammed into the dense canopy of Petalburg Woods in the Hoenn region, splintering ancient trees and scattering debris like fallen stars. Sora emerged from the wreckage, Keyblade materializing in his hand, ready for battle. But instead of shadows, he was greeted by curious Pokémon rustling in the underbrush a world brimming with life, yet tainted by an unnatural darkness seeping from micro-rifts left by the crash.
